Yeah the Cs1x sucks. It is a good MIDI controller though, which is the only thing I use it for anymore. Just curious: How does it suck? The CS1x turns up 2nd hand for a mere $100-150 sometimes, so I've considered getting one. This is considerably less than, for instance the AN1X (usually $250) or a...

Wow, this is a great question! Here's what I need to fix: Mono/Poly: 1 dead key, scratchy pots. (I know the key is easy to fix, but I don't have a clue about the pots. Are they easy to clean?) ARP Axxe: Needs tuning. Drops about a quarter of a note each octave. (Is that something I could handle too,...

Well, OriginalJambo I had a feeling we would hear from you sooner or later, sice the photo of your Cat shows up in the top left-hand corner of this page once in a while! And you're right, I should not be dissing the Cat based on a few sound clips. In fact I'm going to check out those vids of ...

Re: How many synths does a man need?
I used to think the answer was 4. I was thinking in terms of 4 part harmony. Plus, it seemed like a good number coming from the guitar world. Now I have 4 synths (not counting grooveboxes). I spend 90% of my time with two of them, the modular and the Evolver. I am thinking about getting rid of the ...

My MK1's 4023 filter is one of the nicest I have ever had. And thats a lot. You said this on a previous thread on the white-face, but didn't quite specify what's so good about it. Could you compare it to the MKII and MKIII filters for instance? (I know you said you've owned one of each). By the way...

Welcome to the forum MoozeBlaster. Your English is fine, nothing to worry about. I think the reason why you haven't received any suggestions yet is that your question requires acquaintance with the K2000 and the Raven, and there might not be too many people here who have that. I take it you're after...
