Re: Goog
I spent at least 30 minutes messing about with the settings. That's pretty ace. Someone needs to make a tune with this, stat.

Still no love. I'd take the keys + bushings or a complete replacement keybed. No really. I need this.

110865338950 If that's the same SP used on the first Cypress Hill, that's some friggin' brilliant 1200 lineage going on there, although I'm then immediately suspect about the "Used in a smoke free studio only" quote .... This particular SP1200 was used on Cypress Hill,House Of Pain,Brand Nubian,U2,...

Re: What's a Good Price for a DK Synergy?
A Synergy 1 doesn't have the options (full computer-based editing) that the 2 and 2+ have. I paid just under $1000 for my 2+ without the Kaypro computer and SynHCS software. I would expect to see a reasonable price for a Synergy 1 near $500 dollars, if mint. If you can find a 2 or 2+ for the same pr...

For what it's worth, pictures aren't always representative of the actual condition of the machine in question. I can recall a few occasions in past dealings (a small percentage of dealings nonetheless) where the person has sent shitty photos or photos in low-light, and when I got the machine in, it ...

huh? I'm certainly not the only person whose noticed it. That's a solid copy. It's quite noticeable once you clue into the phasing. If you're oblivious, count yourself lucky. :D However, I think in a mix you'd be hard pressed to hear it (or perhaps it would add to the sound)... ...although I don't ...

Heh. yeah but someones already made an offer on it. I'm just hoping whoever buys it will buy some of my extra voice cards. ...I offered him the equivalent difference in price between a working Xa with all cards and his asking price. I don't expect a response. I'm sure I'd get told to sod off.

Re: Make high quality digi synth sound Exactly analogue
witness the empirical evidence. analogue synthesis sounds at least 10-15% warmer and arguably 20% more organic than analog synthesis :? I can't tell if you're serious or not. Well played. I think. vox345 wrote: This is not another analog vs digital train wreck thread or anything. I doubt that very ...

Q #1: How important to you is the storage size (16, 32 or 64GB)? I don't see the benefit of not getting the largest space available; I'll use it. 8GB of applications, and some of those apps (especially recording, sampling) use judicious amounts, plus diversions like iTunes libraries and Movies for ...

Re: What's a Good Price for a DK Synergy?
That all depends... Is it a Synergy, Synergy II or II+? Does all the presets function? Do you have any of the preset carts? What condition is it in? Does it look like it served duty as the target backstop for the local gun range? Do you have the SynHCS software for the Kaypro 2/4/10 that allows you ...
