I'm surprised at this. Have you tried it with various synths ? Could it be something not set on the external synth or the external synth not accepting midi clock ?

He's asking about it transmitting the notes not timing data and no I don't think the DW will do that. The Jupiter-6 will do that if you have Europa (which all JP-6 owners should get)... You do have parameter 85 (Midi Enable) set to "2" (i.e. ALL) and not "1" (Note Data) I assume ? Also, check that parameter 87 (Arpeggio clock) is set to "1", "2", or "3" if you are using the DW-8000s internal clock. There is no internal battery in the Poly800, only the ones in the back. If you have replaced the batteries, then the tape load probably hasn't worked, despite indications to the contrary. I've had the same experience before, everything seemed fine, but about half the patches were the same as the one...
