I don't know. I was referred to that download a while back. Might be worth trying to load them anyway, back up what's on your KS first though.
If not, it might be worth contacting Novation.

Re: I enjoy the challenge of simplicity.....
How many of you here compose, or even record (gasp!) without a computer? I don't use a computer for composing or recording. I use a Tascam 2488neo and/or a Yamaha AW2816. Before those I used Tascam 488s & before that Teac 4 track reel to reel. I've just never got round to using a computer for recor...

Re: rack mount synth vs hardware synth
A rack mount synth is hardware. It's basically a keyboardless version of a hardware synth which you can screw into a thing called a rack. You can then connect the MIDI OUT of your MIDI controller or synth or sequencer to the MIDI IN of the rack mount synth and play the sounds on the rack mount via y...

Re: Whatever happened to knobby VA's?
Personally, I think more manufacturers should go the way of the V-Synth. A combination of a few knobs & a nice touch screen with all the info you need a touch away. It's a great interface and simple to navigate. It may push the price up a bit, but I'm happy to pay for a good UI as it's such a key pa...

Re: looking for an analog synth with an EXTERNAL SOUND INPUT
I'm assuming you mean you want to use filter of an analog synth to process the audio of your digital synth. If this is the case then you might be better off getting something like a Moogerfooger MF-101 Lowpass Filter (http://moogmusic.com/products/moogerfoogers/mf-101-lowpass-filter) rather than a s...

Re: VA synth
I don't own a Venom so can't answer those questions, I'm just going by the demos I've heard as an alternative to the Korgs in roughly the same price range. If I had to pick between a Microkorg/R3 and a Venom, I would go for a Venom personally.

Re: VA synth
How about an M-Audio Venom. It uses sample based synthesis rather than oscillator modelling so it's not strictly a VA, but the sounds I've heard have impressed me. Could be worth checking out some demos. It's a decent price too.

Re: Korg Mono/Poly vs SCI Pro One
f**k this s**t. Anyone who thinks the MonoPoly isn't fat can kiss my a*s. It doesn't f**k matter if Samurai is selling one, every goddamned thing he said about the M/P was true. Well said. I can never understand it when people say the M/P sounds thin or weak. They must have a dud one or are listeni...

(Cue somebody complaining about me complaining about you complaining.) I would like to complain about you complaining about somebody complaining ;) I'm glad it has no MIDI, at least I've got a chance of syncing it to my Tascam 2488neo (the worst at MIDI/MTC syncing of any equipment ever !!). Just n...
