Re: No Sound From My Micron

Did you make sure you got the right type of transformer? i.e. AC to DC vs AC to AC

Re: TB-303: click on attack of enveope

search through the x0xb0x forums, this was covered several times and the part assignments are the same between the x0x and the 303 so what holds true for the x0x will hold true for the 303 (it is a resistor value in the VCA IIRC)

Re: Mixer / Interface Configuration & Recommendation

isn't a patchbay a lot of manual plugging and unplugging? wouldn't an analog mixer along with a good audio interface like the Motu mk828mk3 do the job? i have no experience with a patchbay and although I read the manuals of the Beheringer PX1000, I still can't understand if I'd need to buy tons of ...

Re: The Oakley Sound Systems TM3030 TB clone Review

Just wondering, but what brought on such the high interest in 303 clones? I'm not sure if you have a 303 or not, but assuming you don't, I find your case pretty interesting and unique, as my guess would be that it's literally the clones that interest you more than the original itself. Even more int...

Re: lexicon reverb mx 300

If it's anything like the MX200 I had until recently, it should sound bright and clear - noticably clearer than older similar units. I wasn't keen on the features of the 200 (lack of editing etc) so upgraded to the MPX1; but if I was after a decent first rack effect, I reckon the 300 would be a goo...

Re: The Oakley Sound Systems TM3030 TB clone Review

It's a really quick build. Quicker than the 9090, I bet! Oh yeah :P It's more a case of trying to get obscure components. I've skim-read the PDF component list, and there looks to be a few old transistors and a couple of ICs on there... I've got bags of 3080s and 3046s, and some old NPN/PNPs, but n...

IIRC, mine had the little nipple on the end opposite the mod grip and on the other side on the bottom and they both were pretty standard ones

Re: Drum Samples In Cubase?

That would be the duty of a sampler. There are tons of different ones with different features. KVR is a good place to start (with free ones also). Personally, I like the Linplug RMIV, it allows you plenty of controls for each sample, the ability to use multiple samples per sound, and it also has an ...

Re: The Oakley Sound Systems TM3030 TB clone Review

Honestly, I am really starting to think that the D to A plays a bigger role in that sound than the sequencer. By all accounts, the x0x should be dead on going as far as using all the original parts but it is not, the x0xb0xen are as all over the place sound wise just as the original 303 was. I have ...
