Worst sounding effects box ever. Everything sounds like cheap DJ mixer effects (actually, it is identical to the Roland DJ mixer effects). Cold, harsh, digital, and all the controls step like crazy. I kept mine for about a week before punting it on ebay. The only redeeming thing about it was the coo...

The IC's I got you could actually still see the old numbers below the NTE markings. They seem really over priced but I have never had a bad one. I usually look for the originals since they will always be cheaper if you can find them.

All mam gear runs on 12VAC. Find an old external modem, they usually have 12VAC transformers. They are not that hard to find

will not happen with a preprogrammed sysex controller. You have some assignable CC modulation sources but those are programmed on a patch by patch basis so it is pretty unweildy

still wondering what patented technology was infringed upon. I don't know for sure, something about "IP" and not for commercial use infringement. Not sure what that adds up to but it is obvious the community isn't in the position to pursue legal action. Is something ok if you can get away with it? ...

Tx81z all day long, much more usable than the tx7. Personally, i like the 4 op sound almost better than the 6 op
