Yest it is true, but for analog cv sequencers. Midi doesn't have such limitations. Midi says only "start to play a note with some pitch and volume", or "stop to play a note with some pitch" (this is identical with "play a note with some pitch and volume 0"). So it isn't midi that cares about the po...

I would stay away from the step type sequencers for the MAM, look at 'something more linear like a QY-10 that you can record realtime on its keyboard and have the steps if you want them

its all the same thing, try changing the extension to syx and check that you are not filtering sysex on the output. Make sure that you dont have any sort of bulk protect on and the device is set to receive external dumps (it often does). I would also try midiox, that gives more options for sending b...

You will need to find the cards software mixer and make sure that the line in is routed back to the main outputs which may or may not be an option since that card is not really suited for what you are trying to do so hardware monitoring may not be even available and software monitoring will introduc...

So there's no profit in the machine. Am I right? That black one does look nice... Z No, any profiting from it is against the license. My bench fees are $50 and hour and this would take 7-8 hours to assemble and test from start to finish so there is more labor involved than parts anyway 1- Will the ...

If you need lots of line level inputs then a motu 24 I/O is a better choice and value. You still have not told us what the source devices are either

There is no reset for the ax60 and the only way to get the factory patches back is to find the original tape since it does not support sysex dumps

I would say for analogs, I would just get a good meter that has a counter. A low end fluke is about that much and do a lot more. That scope will allow you to look at the waveforms but wont tell you anything else i think (iirc) that the jp-6 service notes require you to inspect the actual waveform i...
