Seriously though, it would be good if the LFOs could go really fast but it looks like maybe they don't.

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth
In the Arturia video they make a point of the LFO rate going from "very slow to the sub-audio range". Ooh, sub-audio.

That'll teach you to check the forums more frequently.
I can't say how good or otherwise it is because iTunes has decided to stop recognising the presence of my iPod FFS.

Re: more Korg analog - Monotron Duo & Monotron Delay
Putting a filter on a send isn't quite the same as using it as an insert. Unless you use pre-fade sends with the channel faders right down you'll still be getting the unfiltered signal.

Re: What synth is used in the gold HQ scene in Blade Runner?
As an aside, I think the soundtrack for Costa Gavras' movie Missing was recorded around the same time and obviously on a very similar setup. It's nice enough, maybe not quite as cinematically inspired as Blade Runner.

Another cool video Harlem Nights, big up.
Here is a recent song espousing the qualities of the 707. And some other stuff, possibly. NSFW unless you are in Miami Vice.

Re: Little synths and noise toys like BC8, monotribe.
Generally speaking - small, self-contained and immediate. For live improvisations and mangling. Don't necessarily have to be 'noisy', musical / nice is OK too. Quirky and weird is good. External control not a necessity, built-in sequencers are good. Obviously I'd like to find about stuff I haven't c...

Re: Waldorf Largo Happy Ending...
Nice. A touch of the Froeses about those sounds. ;) Waldorf rule, when the stuff works. How come you couldn't get Logic to record the Blofeld? Anyway, yes Largo looks like a great alternative - shame it doesn't have the PPG filter and I hear there a bit of problem with the arp sync? Would be nice to...
