i think the 2nd video on the DSI website was a liitle better. gave an idea on how more "traditional" synth settings sound so you have a little something more to compare it to

you would still need the digital menu to set the range of the knobs (ie: i set the filter resonance to 11 so when i turn the res knob it hits right before it goes into self oscillation) but that would be really cool if you could do that

i just picked up a cz-5000 at a thrift shop. second polysynth and 1st digital. but really like it despite haveing one key that is cracked off at the bottom. the 8 point envelope was a litte weird at first, but there is some real potential in these cheap synths

i was able to get the batteries to work but i cant figure out how the sequencer works... it may be broken..or i might be
everything else is fully functional, but when i press any of the sequencer buttons it just reads "memory 100% available" or "local on/off"

Intelligent comparisons that inform the good folks of VSE are great, as long as they don't turn into "should I get synth X or synth Y?"... when X is a 303 and Y a DX 7. (It's all in the Guidelines ) So comparisons between blue and a yellow synthesizers are legal ? Though these complementary colors ...
