Guess the synths!

What synth makes...
1. The Intro Sweep?
2. The fast stereo panned gritty lo-fi riff?
3. The awkward ambient solo in the quiet part?
Good luck!

Re: Mixing Properly
Good monitors. Good headphones. A good acoustic environment. And use more than one reverb in your mix.

Re: The Beatles: In My Life Harpsichord?
The intro to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was done on a 1965 Lowrey DSO-1 Heritage Deluxe organ. A combination of harpsichord, vibraphone, music box and guitar stops is said to be the registration used on that song. The DSO-1 was the last "non-theater" tube organ produced by Lowery. Astonishing! That is a Mellotron or effected harpsichord I think.Scories wrote:Maybe out of topic, but on the Crumar Multiman, the harpsichord preset really sounds like that melody in the beginning of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds [in case you like that other harpsichord-like sound too].

I know, I said sync lead or a Jp-4, sorry if I didn't make myself clear enoughZ wrote:No sync lead on JP-4 as it is a single oscillator synth.iProg wrote: Wow, cool! I've always thought it was some kind of sync lead or a nasty sound from the JP-4.
