When I heard the album of which the cover is my avatar, a door opened. Behind that door there was an unknown world of synthesizers and music production. That world is now my world.

Good monitors. Good headphones. A good acoustic environment. And use more than one reverb in your mix.

Cool sound. Very similar to a string layer thing I did on one of my songs on the album.

My guess is Matrix-12.

The intro to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was done on a 1965 Lowrey DSO-1 Heritage Deluxe organ. That is a Mellotron or effected harpsichord I think.

No sync lead on JP-4 as it is a single oscillator synth.

How about polyphony? Are they all monophonic? If you have a polyphonic CV controller and enough OSC, I think polys not a problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I've spent most of the office afternoon to check out the dotcom and doepfer synths. Shipping a modular set from the U.S could be expensiv...
