Re: Retro Juno 6 recordings (1983)
Thanks both of you... Following the positive feedback I've received from VSE as well as other listeners, I've added more of the tracks now from the cassettes, as well as this: http://carrillion.bandcamp.com/album/carrillion which represents the beginnings of my first proper band. I'm playing the Ju...

I'm interested in buying it, but would like to know if there are any known problems/failures/construction issues to take in consideration before acquiring it? He will give me a friendly price, so the money doesn't really both...

Re: Are you an expert on a specific synthesizer?

The PolySix has many hidden tricks and sounds and is the VCO synth I use the most. ...

Re: Hans Zimmer's score to Days of Thunder setup?
Well, he did have a DX-1 and TX-816 (which he used on the Paperhouse OST which was recorded the year before) so he may have used those on Days Of Thunder as well. I just listened to the score again and have to say it's pretty 'kew'l indeed, it's a lot more "synthy" than I remembered it to be. So he...

Re: Theme for great cities, Jupiter 4?
Yes, the haunting pad sounds heard throughout "Theme for great cities" does indeed come from the Jup-4. I know this because Michael MacNeil confirmed it for me some years ago. Actually, most of the strings and pads on Sons and fascination and Sister Feelings Call were played on the Jup-4 (though th...
