Well I got it Monday and it sounds great. I'll try manual editing first and then if I don't like that I'll try one of those editors. So far the presets alone sound pretty good. Oh and, USPS left a very nice dent on the bottom for me near the pull out chart. It's only cosmetic, but I think they are a...

But here's what really burns my Bacon: MC-303 --about $400 new in 1996. TB-303 --about $400 new in 1982. should've waited until 1984, could got the sucker for less than $100 you cant give the mc- 303 away... Oh yeah and a used one was even cheaper than that- by more than $50. I gave my MC-303 away ...

I just wish Roland would make the TR-808, TR-909, SH-101, MC-202, TB-303, Jupiter 8, and Juno-106 (without dead voices) again, and all with MIDI. ...The Roland Mark II series... I mean sure- those things would be analog, and costly to Roland, but they would be costly to us too. People do shell out m...

I got a TX81z!
I'm surprised how I could be so excited about this cheap little synth but I truly am looking forward to getting this thing in the mail. I kind of miss my DX7, and I wanted to give FM experimenting another chance (with a computer editor, of course.) This is my very first rack synth. -Also, it has exc...

I don't know if I would mod anything vintage. I mean If it aint broke don't fix it. If it's all messed up and beat to h**l then I wouldn't have much of a problem redoing it since you'd be sort of starting from scratch. Look at customsynth, he gets beat up synths and makes them look wonderful. That P...

Okay so looking at these responses- It's no 303 fill-in but it's still good. Well, actually I think I'm actually gonna get a TX81z next because it's less than $100 and I still need the latelybass preset for my 1990s synthpop/eurodance basslines. 8) But hey the EA-1 is definitely still on my list but...

Well that demo does have a 303 sound in it that sounds good enough for me. I think I know what my next paycheck will be spent on. 8) Nobody yell at me for saying that- I just don't expect perfection and It's all I can afford right now. It's a good 303 substitue for me because It's ubiquitous and che...

Korg EA-1 mk1=good TB-303 emulation?
I'm thinking the EA-1 could come in handy for 303 sounds. Does it make for a decent tb-303 substitue?

Re: MODULAR SYNTH FOR SEQUENCING
In order to have the fullest possible control over each parameter of the three rows of 16 steps I was thinking I would need three oscillators, three filters, three EGs, etc.. Hmm. 3 of everything, eh? You could save a lot of money with an Ensoniq ESQ-1/SQ-80 and a FR Mobius. The ESQ-1/SQ-80 both ha...

I had a CZ-1000 for a while. I didn't like how big it was. Why didn't I save an extra $100 for a CZ-101? It would have been worth it. You should definitely consider the CZ-5000. It's easy to afford, and I think it's better than the CZ-1 because it has more programming options even though it doesn't ...
