Re: What is the stupidest accident you've had with you gear?

I left my AN1x out one night with two young rats that have access to the couch...they took a nice bite out of the sync/fm button. :( They ate the knob ? wow.. just last night: most of my stuff is put away because i'm about to move, but i have one keyboard stand set up beside my computer on which i ...

Re: What is the stupidest accident you've had with you gear?

the stupidest accident i had with my gear was leaving my studio door unlocked. my wife saw all my gear after not being in it for over two years and saw all my synths and cables. BUSTED!!!!!!!! she was very mad at my spending $$$$$$$$$. If she was so shocked, what did she think you were doing in the...

Re: New LinnDrum II Design

I welcome the news that it will be a Linn product, and I hope he can present us with a kick-ass drum machine at a good price point that will blast software and machinedrums out of the way. I am not very fond of those all-in-one boxes either. I would much rather have one machine that does it's job ve...

Re: What is the stupidest accident you've had with you gear?

My worst was entirely my fault. I was seducing a female friend of my brother and had brought her 'round my bedroom so that I could play Mr Lover. Alas, we'd had a few refreshments and in the process of making my move I knocked over an entire Modcan modular system. NEVER PUT A LAVA LAMP NEXT T...

A lot of comic (also tragic) incidents so far...
I guess when looking back, you can laugh about these things.

Keep 'em coming !

What is the stupidest accident you've had with you gear?

Personally I haven't had any major stupid mishaps with my gear (yet), other than that I managed to drop the Akai S-2000 in the floor a couple of times when I had it -without any perceivable damage to it. And I have banged my head in various keyboards more than once while toiling with power cords and...

Great track, very different and fresh. There is something with those synth textures that really speaks to me. Good work! I want more.. :D

Re: Yamaha are not really making any synths anymore

I would say Yamaha SY-series and Roland JD-800. Don't know Korg that well. ok, the yamaha sy 1 and 2. but those were before the dx7... dont care bout the others with 2 digits ;) and, IMO, the jd800 isnt interesting at all. so isnt the karma no offense intended :) Non taken . Everyone have the...

Reminds me of the intro in Kraftwerk's "Metropolis". Cool sound.

Re: Roland D-50 service manual needed

Why didn't you just ask me right away? 8)

Roland D-50 Service Manual.zip - 9.88MB

I have all manuals for the D-50 and the User Manual for the PG-1000 Programmer, D-50 edit map, and some small useful guides i.e. D-50 key cleaning guide.

Re: About the Korg Polysix Legacy edition...

Thanks Sexor, that is a good answer to what I wanted to know. Judging from that I bet the real polysix (in good working condition) must be a great and fun synth. But i like the Legacy as it is too, it is CPU friendly as you say, and sounds very nice for a softsynth.
