I thought the G1 sounded a h**l of a lot better than the nord lead. From my understanding the G1 sounds better than the nord lead 2 as well. try downloading the 1,000 plus patches from thier website for the g1. find a sound that is close to what your looking for and desgin patches from that to meet ...

the ax90 never went beyond the prototypes. very silimar in design as the AX80.

1.sounds like a rubber band being flicked close to my ear.

2.well Krautrock wouldnt been the same without its buzzy honeycomb drone.

if you already have a decent synth, I would just save for a decent drummachine or higher end groovebox
