Re: Drumulator vs. Drumatix vs. KPR-77
I've owned all three, 606 is the easiest to program and general sounds the best. The Drumulator comes in 2nd but I find it the more enjoyable of the three to use. The KPR-77, just sample the sounds and never think of it again, nightmare to program.

Re: Minimoog voyager rack vs. arp odyssey
as an aside, how much different are arp axxes from odysseys? "THEY" and I mean "THEY", say two arp axxes synced together is more powerful than an odyssey. I tried to to prove this wrong or right but when I purchased a second arp axe. Sadly, when the second arp axe arrived it was dead as a door knob...

I would not let my pro-one go running, it would fall to pieces.Barfunkel wrote:Pro One doesn't need to run anywhere... it's great where it is.stikygum wrote:In the intro vid he says he thinks the Mopho keys 'runs' circles around the Pro One'... Interesting. Definitely will be a fun keyboard though.

I bought a Roland TR-808 that came from a church, I bought a EPS-16plus from a church when they were basically new for a fraction of what it cost.

Hmmm.....Maybe I am missing the point
The new product that Roger Linn gave a quick demo of....
1. Was that a hoax before the new linndrum is dropped.
2. Why not create a Linn ipad app instead, seems to be along the same lines.
3. If the technology/material he was using for it is no longer available; why not
just bail on the project.

Re: iPhone / iTouch music applications suggestions
Propellorheads Rebirth was just released for the iphone/ipod touch! As someone who first experienced music writing with this exact piece of software, I'm pretty excited (and definitely selling some stuff to buy an ipod touch) edit: forgot links: http://rebirthapp.com/ and some video here http://mat...

Re: E-mu XL-7 Command Station Vs. Akai MPC-3000/2000Xl
I think it really comes down to what you, the user, is most comfortable with. The MPC 2000XL and 3000 are way too different machine that primarily do the same thing.
