I've owned all three, 606 is the easiest to program and general sounds the best. The Drumulator comes in 2nd but I find it the more enjoyable of the three to use. The KPR-77, just sample the sounds and never think of it again, nightmare to program.

as an aside, how much different are arp axxes from odysseys? "THEY" and I mean "THEY", say two arp axxes synced together is more powerful than an odyssey. I tried to to prove this wrong or right but when I purchased a second arp axe. Sadly, when the second arp axe arrived it was dead as a door knob...

I think it really comes down to what you, the user, is most comfortable with. The MPC 2000XL and 3000 are way too different machine that primarily do the same thing.
