Check the "level split balance" slider.

If it's all the way up or all the way down you're not hearing all the ax's voices. For even voice balance, keep it right in the middle.

Hope that's all that's wrong...

It's worth checking out silly obvious stuff first

You can recreate Biggie's "Big Papa" by finding a copy of the Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets".... it's just a straight sample with a bit of a drumbeat over it. Same can be said for California Love... just pick up a copy of Joe Cocker's "Woman to Woman" and presto! you've got the California Love...

I've got the K-Station... never had any problems with it. It's a nice handy thing for live stuff and the occasional bleep in the studio. The KS synths really do have their own sound and feel.

The vocoder on it really sucks though.

I just got a Jupiter 6 today! I'm not getting the whole "factory patch" thing... The "Patch Preset" banks, A-D have sounds on them, but when I deactivate patch preset I get access to banks A-F but they're completely empty. Are you trying to load sounds that were loaded into the user slots when it ca...

Cool!

Why don't you put your myspace in your www. or sig. then? I like it and I'm sure others do as well, don't keep it secret. :P

I use it mostly for electro blips and blops.... Many years ago I deleted all the presets and set out filling all the banks with my own sounds. I've done so a couple of times now. It's become a routine thing to do every now and then... to just mess around programming it so that when I'm inspired and ...

The kick is actually both.....

I use just the "click" attack of the ER-1 and then the low end is a kick sampled off an old 70's record and filtered in the ESX and running through the tubes 8)

The ER-1 does a lot of the weird percussion stuff.

Hmmmm ok... the actual slider path itself though... is a bit shorter... I was measuring from the bottom of the slider cap in the lowest position to the top of the cap in the highest position. Ok, so let's do this again.... http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q34/S3xor/mc202faderSmall.jpg http://i132....

The path on the 202 is shorter than on the 101.

I don't have a ruler on me right now... but the 202 length is just about half a normal length cigarette and the 101 is at around 2/3 cigarette.

Hope this helps :D
