Re: If Korg can make a Monotron that sells for $65...

I too would love to see Korg make a more complex monotron or in lala land an ms20mkII and have said so before in the " wet dream " threads on here . Contemplation on "" if " they will do anything of this sort however , does come down to the argued economics of other posts though I wouldn't rule out ...

Re: MS2000R <- MS2000BR ?

My blue MS 2000R has no midi sync issues. I don't think you can expand the MS 2000R to 8 voices either. You can midi connect a keyboard and a rack or 2 racks or etc and turn on an overflow mode on it will send every other note to the 2nd engine . As far as the sync issue ... I have heard this has a...

Re: Ensoniq SQ-80 Sysex Help

I would re-download them again . I went and grabbed the SYX. files and they loaded up in the SQ8L under it's SYX import function ... So they are readable If the SQ is set to receive and the files are not corrupted You might try slowing the speed of SYX LIB's playback to about 80% . My ESQ-1 dose not...

Re: Help setting up NRPN on an MPK midi controller

according to http://artsites.ucsc.edu/EMS/music/tech_background/MIDI/NRPNs.html Here's an example with numbers. Say a gadgetworks 400 has a gizmo parameter listed as nrpn 149, and the range of gizmo is 0 to 255. You want to set gizmo to 73. The numbers have to be broken into 7 bit chunks. That's do...

Your looking for hardware manuals ? IDK if there are any ? Maybe spec sheets ? If there are such things I would imagine they are per module and not for a system as there are so many ways to build a system . Re: aftertouch

The Akai MPK's have channel aftertouch ...and a pretty good action too IMHO
Decently rugged for the road I would think ...only tow things suck on it ... pads for "drumming " anyway and the akai tech support who don't know much about it . lol , but seriously a good contender for a controller
