I had two Pat Metheny records before but hadt heard "As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls". I found it yesterday at a second hand store. Its great!

the Cs-80 is realy the king of the hill, but the CS-50/60 isnt far behind at all. The main drawback of the cs-50(compaired to the 60) is the lack of ribboncontroller. If I get you right:
2 Cluboftheknobs C960 sequencers, Moog clones, 970 euros each
2 Moonmodular 552 CV to midi interfaces, perhaps one is enough, 298 euros each
So it rounds up to: 2536 euros + shipping + power + case. But cool.

Actualy I think the dark (metal) ambient isnt such a huge influential gengre. Perhaps it is in the notorious metal-countries Finland and Norway.
