I used to listen to heavy metal, and the use of synthesizers was not true metal. Of course the techno ow...

Korg or Roland analog delay??

Hello.

I've a oportunity to by a Korg SD-200 analog delay, has anyone tried one?

I realy love the Roland DC-30(?)/Boss dm-100, but the Korg is cheaper. Is the Korg a competitor?

I have on BBD anaolg delay, the Dynacord VRS-23.

Re: unknown minisynthesizer

The one at the bottom photo looks like a "POWERTRAN Transcendent 2000". A British DIY synth designed by Tim Orr. It came as a build-yourself kit and I think under different names. It and sounds very good.

Re: Matrix 12 Vs Jx10

Used to have a JX-8p and now got an Xpander.

The Jx is nice but the Xpander/matrix 12 (yes I tried one) are so much more.

The do have VCOs. But they autotune if you want them to.

Otherwise I agre with Leeroy & ESP

Re: SH-101 vs. Juno 60/JSQ 60

I cant realy explain why but I prefer the basic sound of the Juno-60, the filter is astounding. And the memory buttons looks tasty. :D

And a bit more power in the low-end to my ears...

Re: juno 60 vs jx3p vs polysix.

Al three of them are great, and the JUno-60 sounds close to the JP-8 in basic sounds.
Ive had three Junos and two JX-3p over the years.

Check the audio demo of the juno-60 filter on bluesynths.

Re: Today's Best Value

Adding to the JX-3/8, the Alpha Junos, even somtimes the Junos.

My favourite the Kawai SX-240 gives a lot of power, cheap.

Some of the Yamaha CSs could fetch more...
