My setup is pretty minimal too. At the moment I don't have a mixer so my kaoss pad is permanently hooked up to my SH-09. Hours of fun!

I've been demo'ing Loomer's aspect and string synth. They are niiiice. And they are available for linux too!

It could make a good midi controller. Develop an application with buttons, sliders etc that can transmit midi and hook it up to another machine using Live or something. Have different configurable screens you can flip between. That might be cool.

But on the whole I'm not impressed.
