Remember, it's tracking, which is faster for these kinds of orchestral/counterpoint/details than anything else. I can 'type' a composition like this faster than the fastest player ...

I would have to say the best would be the evolver - you do get a lot of stuff for what you pay and it is so flexible with modulation routings. Once you get used to the interface it is a very imediate wynth to program on. ...On the roland/Korg issue... I really dont much care for what roland make no...

BEST: AN1x
WORST: Never owned a bad synth... (lucky me!)

Edit: tried some very dodgy synthedit creations though... I guess they don't count!
