Get a KP3 with Grn5 FX then loop some rhythmic hits at certain points and let it do its thing, it's almost too easy. I think any good glitch is stuff that sticks in your heard or compels you to listen to it again but that can also be said for any decent music. Sadly the rise in popularity of this no...

I think it's all bollocks myself. I bought my Monomachine for less than retail new from Touched By Sound when the factory was clean out and there were also many other retailers that had them in. I know there was a big hullabaloo about Turnkey losing distribution rights in the UK to some other shop s...

Your probabbly looking more at software like Recycle to do that kinda stuff but good IDM style drums would be the Machinedrum, Nord Modular or Waldorf Attack and maybe a Kaoss 3 for FX.

I think that generally sums up the 'Nord sound' in a nutshell dude. :)

Its just Knords sound like almost every other VA out there.
I disagree with both points.
I disagree with the second (own both) but like the G1's flexibility and detailed sound.

I think thanks to GeneralBigbag the NM is now a keeper. It seems I wasn’t pushing it far enough in the right areas but this machine is capable of some quite savage s**t if you know what you’re doing. Getting deeper into the ‘Nord sound’ I’ve come to the conclusion that it has a very distinct ...

No. MG and JMJ met a bit earlier, when JMJ had finished Oxygene 1,2,3. MG helped him with mixing and recording parts 4,5,6 You know your stuff Radek so I don't dispute any of it. Hey man do you know where that interview with Geiss where he talked about an Aero before JMJ held it back (again)...

I'm not sure about synth design, but I can say for sure the midi controller market is DRY as BONE. Where's my 8x32 w/48 knob drum controller (6 knob per track of course), w/abiltiy to load in grooves via USB, per track shuffle and independtly looping tracks? Why can't I buy a simple x0x style 16 tr...

I think that JMJ borrowed his first 2600 from Michel Geiss. I know that MG owned one when met JMJ. JMJ was less experienced so MG learned him bout 2600. The story I’ve heard was that Geiss once got approached by someone after he gave a lecture about synths or the 2600 (or both) and was told about s...

I'll tell you exactly what I think of the "Nord sound".... I just got the Nord Rack 2X two weeks ago, and have thuroughly explored the synth, which isn't hard to do since it is one of the simplest synths I have next to perhaps the MKS-50 and JP-8080. I've heard all of this hullabaloo about the "Nor...

Nice one man  I've been experimenting a lot with the distortions, amplifiers, wavewrappers ect but any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. :) The presets really don't explore the extreame in any way.
