Yeah that's the one, but it sounds more 101/202-ish than 303, listening to the demo there

Re: For Blade Runner lovers
Thanks for listening and I'm glad you liked it. I used a Moog Voyager RME, DSI Poly Evolver (Rack), a Studio Electronics Omega 8, Roland R-8M drum module, and a Lexicon MPX-500 and TC Electronic Fireworx for (huge) reverbs. A quick rundown... Voyager: underlying drone and radio S&H bleeps Omega 8: ...

Custom Prodyssey
Just seen this on another website, someone customised their prodyssey by adding a keyboard and the original colour coded caps to the sliders. Looks well done though. you will have to click the links below as the images are not gonna show up :o http://www.flickr.com/photos/matrixsynth/1346773785/size...

Yeah, about a million button presses to just start making a pattern, both convoluted sequencers on them 2StepLogik wrote:i've owned both the MC-808 and MC-909. Terrible sequencers on both.

Re: WinXP PC Users: What audio software are you using?
Still using Samplitude 7 after 2 years, i find it gets the job done and it's a program i know inside out now, and have never bothered my arse using VSTi plug-ins and s**t like that. Only used for audio recording and clock-sync'n of midi.

Re: Minimal electro
Not bad at all, reminds me of some of the early 80's electro at the time,
but... i feel there is some elements missing, i think some strings low in
the mix will give it a bit of an atmosphere

Essential features would be: - 3 octaves with full action. (I can't stand 25-key controllers) - USB powered - octave key switches - modulation wheel - ...

....but it does it closer than anything else the 'big 3' are offering these days. MC-09? 505/808/909 ?? Not as close as EMX. there's no way to do it spot-on for cheap with real hardware anymore...unless you get lucky on CL or something. i don't think you understand, the thing that is unique to the ...

Re: why don't synth manufacturers just make the old synth?
If Acidlab and Jomox can make money with 303/808/909 clones, I'm quite sure Roland could make money off brand new re-issues. Roland could, but they won't. They just don't make those old parts anymore that they used in those machines, besides it costs a lot of money to set up a production line for t...
