If you dont want preamps and only need 1/4 ins w/ volume attenuation, it would'nt be too difficult a project to build custom to your needs if your handy w/ an iron. If your not you can always find someone to help w/ advice and a tutorial. just a thought. yeah, that would probably make for a ...

They did (but only for PC). You can download it here: http://www.korg.com/service/downloadinfo.asp?DID=230 And it works really well. Enjoy! Cheers, Graham well, you can tell i haven't had my ES-1 for a few years now. i did try it anyway with an old .ES1 file, and it works a treat. thanks!

i just recently received my Behringer 1602 line mixer. now i have 7 stereo pairs running into it (14 inputs). the 1602 feeds into my other mixer, which was already connected to my PC interface. i don't know it'll sound on recordings, but just playing it thru my monitors sounds great. luckily (for me...

yeah, glad to hear your ES-1 is fine. it's weird that Pro Tools is doing some funny tricks there. i like the ES-1 a lot; i hope you do too. good luck!

what'd you make them with, and what app are they tagged to open in?
um, i think just good ol' Goldwave for Windows. (not much of a Mac/PC music production guy, here).

i say just grab some freeware/shareware wav editor, and you're probably golden.

have you given any thought to the EA-1 as a "stop gap" of sorts, while waiting for a nice price on a Mobius? an EA-1 could be had for 100 bucks or less if you're mindful of Ebay and Craigslist (i bought my MKII for $75 less than a year ago). it's got two tracks, 16-64 step sequencing, and inbuilt so...

hilarious. this sounds like an ad blurb.

just got this thing, like new. card's brand new. toss me a sample! was i correct about the ES only saving samples made within it in its own format and not being able to take them out as wavs or aifs? that's correct. the ES-1 compresses files with its own screwy little scheme. some years back there ...

i've got a quick question: is this something that started happening unexpectedly, or has it always behaved this way (maybe you just bought the ES-1)?? about every suggestion i was going to offer you covered in your initial post, so i'm stumped. i agree with th0mas -- put a sample on the thing that h...

With the Mob I could sync my jx3p, esx, sh101 and computer while using it to sequence my ms2k ,.. its like that piece i've been missing forever. your MS2K(r) has a 16-step (or 32, or whatever) sequencer inbuilt, hasn't it? or does it only store sequences per patch (been a long time since i had mine)?

So the internal sequencer on the Monomachine.. can it have more midi channels that in does internally? By that I mean can the sequencer have extra tracks soley for midi while still being able to use all its internal voices? yep. six tracks with internal voices, six additional MIDI-only tracks (util...

this may be operator error, but when i muted tracks it didn't mute the midi. plus it has that infernal quantization, so all notes get locked into rigid 1/16. mc808 allows much deeper editing. not sure if you're referring to the EMX-1 there, but yeah, that's operator error. the EMX mutes over...

my experience w/ MX is rough stuff for external sequencing. I agree... its fine for mono stuff (again.. the evolver) But beyond that its waaay to simple of a sequencer.. consider that the OP was interested in the Mobius and Step64. forgetting about CV capabilities (which didn't seem of interest her...
