Before changing them, you can try to clean them. Deoxit (from Caig) does a great job. MG Chemicals contact cleaner is very good too. If it fails, all you need are 100K linear potentiometers (if I'm not mistaken). Available at every good places selling electronic parts, like Digikey.com, Mouser.com,...

OS X is Unix-based, solid as a rock and bulletproof. i use my machines for music, video editing & design (Adobe CS and web design). plus, they run everything these days, including Windows.

Wasn't the editor 3rd-party and Mac-only? uhhh... the FS1R was- like most 1U rack modules- meant for an editor. it's not half as difficult a UI as the SY77/99.

they seem really different to me. i only use my Mono/Poly as a mono synth, so 4 distinct oscillator voice architecture over 1 oscillator architecture totally separates them to me.
