Re: How have Arturia Origin sales been?

that list probably changes when a single person buys 1 synthesiser, given that synthesisers dont have huge turnover.

As for the rest of this thread, there still doesn't seem to be a single direct comparison audio file for anyone to download.

Re: Any comments on the MFB Polylite's sound?

yeah ..
the oscillators are completely digital, they're not DCOs.

The filter is analogue though, so I guess maybe that'd make up for it... but then maybe you could buy an MFB filter box + a cheap poly digital synth that has knobs for lesss and get more controls.

Re: Which analog poly under 500 euros?

isn't the MFB polylite just a poly version of the synth lite.. which actually has digital oscillators, not DCOs..?

I can't exactly remember so maybe not.

Re: Lower end hardware sequencers

dont go the MC303. . I was warned off it by soo many people when I was thinking about it! haha by step-input do you mean 303 style step input where you enter a note/rest/etc and then it advances to the next step , or the kind that has a row of 16 buttons, 1 for each step? I would suggest the Yamaha ...

It's like the difference between humanoid robots with neural networks in their skulls, and human beings.

Arguably exactly the same, but there's still 'something' there.

128 pattern slots should really be plenty to include variations.. how many songs do you need to have on hand all the time?

If you had 8 parts to a song, that's still 16 songs you can have on there at once.

Are you sequencing it externaly or just playing it? I think the stuck notes thing was only when sequencing from a computer or something.
