some forgotten or neglected tracks
gotta love the unlimited uploads on bandcamp, so here are the tracks I didn't bother to put up earlier. some have been on myspace, but myspace is kinda boring, and I like to organize things into "albums". the melancholic Norwegian November and Midnight Sun joins in on the "Aerosol" album, while some...

Maybe it's a UW update to their Machinedrum T-shirts.

Re: Spectralis vs Monomachine video
sweet jam
seems we share a love for that talkfilter/dealy effect on the KP3
also nice to see the physical size of the Spectralis next to the MnM. obviously I'm getting a Spectralis, just not this year
and damn that yamaha (RS7000?) is huge....

Tons of hands on goodness for dayz!
The Machinedrum UW judging from what Ive read also offers up some bad a*s knob tweakage.

Re: Boss DC-2. stereo out, but only mono in?
well, there lies the point I just don't get: the specs clearly say the ESX has stereo in, but as far as I remember (mine is in storage) there is only one input. TRS in is stereo in. As in, running from a headphone out of another piece of gear into the ESX. It will pan sounds around. I always...

Re: Boss DC-2. stereo out, but only mono in?
maybe I'm just overcomplicating things here.. I've heard running the DC-2 in stereo is half the trick to the magical sound, and ideally I'd like to transfer the stereo spread thru the ESX to apply some panning modulation before hitting the rest of the fx chain (just a reverb and delay) actually I ne...

well, there lies the point I just don't get: the specs clearly say the ESX has stereo in, but as far as I remember (mine is in storage) there is only one input.. I've never really used the inputs to sample stuff, just as an fx processor for my esx... and, aren't there Y-cables that still send a ster...

Re: Boss DC-2. stereo out, but only mono in?
yes, stereo input, but still only ONE input.. oh wait.. source--->mono in DC-2--->stereo out-->"merger" (for lack of a better word) that sends stereo signal through the ESX.. 3/4 out to stereo fx.. why the bloody faak didn't I think of that....? ok eBay next...'

Re: Boss DC-2. stereo out, but only mono in?
yeah, well the problem then is that I lose the nice modulated panning action on my ESX, as the ESX also only has mono in, meaning I'd need to send source--->dc-2--->mono out to ESX-->outputs 3/4... hm.. maybe that could work too when I come to think of it. however, Iæve heard that 75% of the DC-2 ma...

Boss DC-2. stereo out, but only mono in?
I'd like one, but since it only has one input I can't see myself fitting into my chain, as I run it all in stereo (yes, even the Acidlab goes through the ESX for pan modulation.). is it possible to get one of those converters that take two cables and merges the signal into one jack and at the same t...

Re: The Synth Only Drum Kit Challenge!
What's the format? I mean, I'd prefer velocity layers, keyswitches, round robin note variations (hihats anyone?) 'n things. Halion? Gigasampler? what's velocity layers, and keyswitches, and round robin note variations? and halion and gigasampler? other than that I'm in :) time to explore the...

Re: Which Synths are Good For Making Percussion Sounds?
yeah, that would be cool :) I'm currently making a bunch of pads and ambent sounds for a sample-site ( http://www.zenhiser.com/pages/About-Us.html ) for digital sales, so I doubt I could use the same samples in a VSE-thingy, but I bet there would be lots of leftover percussion samples that I could u...
