Re: out with the old, in with the new

A bit suprised you mention that some tracks are free to download, I always assumed everyone had their tracks available for free on MySpace :) I downloaded the bunch, will listen through everything when I get home tonight :) anyway, what track...

Re: Monomachine

ah, I didn't really believe the MnM could sample, but also I was under the impression that the term "custom waveform" refered to imported snippets of audio, but I realize that I would have known if the MnM did indeed sample :p anyway, sounds very cool, I'm definately into making my own waveforms :) ...

Syn303 wrote: Yep what he said, your own custom waveforms, but the new machines that are also added to the DIGI-PRO section also offer up a lot new possibilities within the MnM. woot? how did I miss that part? so, you could, ina sense, say the mk2 it's the MnM UW? or is there a difference betweena "...

Re: Monomachine

I just bought an MnM MKII as well :D high five! :) I have pretty much decided to get the MD as well, since I can afford it if I really want to, and everything else important is already paid for (rent, new bed, sofa etc for our new place). I won't get a car until I finish my education, and even then...

Monomachine

I just ordered one!! my hands were actually, physically trembling when I punched in the credit card number and completed the order.. this is by far the most expensive investment I've ever made, music-wise, and I am just besides myself with excitement!! and you know what's even cooler? my girlfriend ...

thanx eveyone :) glad someone likes this. ' @shaft: thank you, but that track is 3 years old, I was hoping for feedback on the new track ;) hehe :) and shanesaw: I don't loathe my own music or think it's trash, I'm just prepared that most likely, some people will not like it :p I am getting rather s...

"The Owls Are Not What They Seem" Acid/Breakbeat

allrighty joe, here we have the latest piece of trash from me :) This track is made of putting together a few forgotten patterns on my electribes, adding the Acidlab and turning knobs until the bass made the windows twist and shake. instrument breakdown: Korg ESX: badly programmed breakbeats + two d...

Re: Quality or Quantity?

I've been into low-cost stuff for a long time, but I'm at the point now where I'm trying to minimize the amount of gear and focus more on real powerhouses. Also, space is an issue to me, so my goal is to get as much synth-power from as few pieces of gear as possible in the smallest space possible, B...

Re: ESX sampling memory?

ok, I think I see why the sample option could be worth the extra money, just not that much for me personally :) thanx for the replies, I now know I am going for the regular MD

Re: ESX sampling memory?

12 seconds??? why on earth would anyone spend 350$ for 12 seconds? I even think my ESX with it's 70-80 seconds had limited sampling time... well, no UW for me then

ESX sampling memory?

a quick, silly question, but how much is the sample memory in the ESX? I have one, but I just can't find the info anywhere.. I'm asking, because I'm set on selling off some gear to get a Maxhinedrum, but I need to know just how much sampling memory the UW has compared to the ESX before deciding if I...

Re: Inside a Korg EMX
