Re:
hey, that first link (Kaosta Siestillator) is my stuff :) glad you like it :) those stuff are great! are those made just by using the KO1 alone? thank you for sharing it, I've had great moment with those tracks. I'm also hoping for a KO1/Electribe hybrid with midi and storage that would be what I'm...

Re: Kaossilator appreciation thread
hey, that first link (Kaosta Siestillator) is my stuff :) glad you like it :) note that sone tracks (origo, drum demos etc) are not the Kaossilator but demos of my other gear. it's the page where I put "everything else", as myspace only allows 6 tracks at a time. I don't use the KO1 as much as I did...

Re: "Mnemiopsis" Minimal Acid w/Acidlab Bassline
thank you both :) I'm pretty much decided on selling my stuff to finance a machinedrum, and if I get enough work hours this autumn, I'll go for the monomachine as well, completing my dream set-up :) I'll try to re-record a couple songs I've made and include the bassline if possible. I made some real...

Re: Choose Your Favorite Acid Life Setup.
..
as for acid live setup, I'll take a Monomachine, Machinedrum UW , ESX x2, Tb303 and future retro 777 + space echo, vermona spring reverb and a sherman filterbank. should be enough knobs to turn live for 4 people

Re: Choose Your Favorite Acid Life Setup.
1x old casette-player, modified to play back the tape at a slower and more random way.
lots of analog delay, flangers, filters, you name it.
find some acid music on casette and eat some mushrooms

"Mnemiopsis" Minimal Acid w/Acidlab Bassline
had a blast jamming up this little strange acid-like track today :) unpacked the ESX and synced up my new Acidlab Bassline 1, and started up a couple patterns, this is my first jam with the two. I was having an aim at the plastikman/richie hawtin style again, and I find the ESX to have a very good F...

never cared much for hiphop/rap music, but I do like your stuff, it's very well produced

Re: Acidlab Bassline
well, living in Norway, it's not that easy to "just try some gear", shipping and import taxes easily would add $200 to the price for the revolution (from the US), and I'd have to wait 3-4 weeks (that's how long my ESX and ER took to get here), and then, if I decide I don't like it, there would be eB...

Re: FX for acidlab bassline?
may throw in some cheap Overdrive somewhere there too for more agressive-sounding 303 lines. anyhow, what pedals can do this? I'm asking because I honestly can't think of any product that suits my needs... so, suggestions? overdrive the gain input on your mixer for the bassline, you'll get the same...

Re: FX for acidlab bassline?
How about the Alesis Faze ? Haven't tried it myself (although all the others in the ModFX line that I've used have been cool), but it looks like it does what you want (Phaser and stereo panning), and they come up on Ebay pretty regularly for not a ton of money. yeah, that one.. ;) I actually had on...

Re: FX for acidlab bassline?
all good suggestions, but a little over my budget :( I've thought it over, and the easy solution would be to go Bassline-->Holy Grail--> ESX in (for modulated panning)--> Seperate outputs to the DD-6 for stereo delay :) I love to play around with effects chains, sometimes the results can really shin...

FX for acidlab bassline?
SO, enjoying my new 303 clone (as seen in other threads), I'm really loving how it sounds run through the ESX effects engine :) However, I'm always using the fx on the esx for the internal sounds, so I'm thinking to get some dedicated fx to free up the ESX. However, one of the coolest things the ESX...

Re: Acidlab Bassline
I'll have a look at getting a tuner for the bassline, possibly on eBay, as even cheap ones are way too expensive for me to buy locally :p
