Re: Video clips from "classic" movies featuring electr

It just proves Beethoven is so badass he can make synths sound like guitars.

Excellent!

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: Mall Scene
Beethoven shredding a Jupiter 8 in a mall...how has this not been posted? Joan of Arc was looking bodacious in that movie too.

Re: Warm/cold subjectivity

My theory is (and I hope everyone will weigh in on this): what we mean by "warm" is "more organic (acoustic?)," and what we mean by "cold" is "more electronic." Something along the lines of "more natural" as opposed to "less natural." So synths are organic...thus they are made of wood...WITCHES! BU...

My pitch bend is broken. :( It mechanically still works but the lever was broken when my brot...

Why do you start and end your posts with periods ronP? Is it some sort of macro or is it a posting OCD?

Back to the post. I would like to see a video of one of those drumming on Mars. Either primitively drumming on rocks or beating their human masters to death.

Open it up and look inside. You don't have to take it all apart just remove the left side. If yours has a small board attached to the main board its a later one else its an original. If you look inside and it looks like this http://users.skynet.be/bk318113/303/images/MS-20%20without%20filterboard.jp...

Offered for cheap? A used classic version usually goes for around $1,000(US). If less then cool if more than $1,100 you might as well get a MKII version for the recently released wavetable features. I have had a Monomachine for almost a year and I prefer the Machinedrum-UW. They serve different purp...

trigger/acc. out > trigger/gate in am I missing something? What's with all these converter boxes? You just need gear that this stuff I guess. I like to use my DR-110 and MG-1. I'll be putting a CS-5 in that mix soon, too. Elektron Machinedrum A Machinedrum isn't analog. A DR-110 is. I still have no...

There is a MIDI machine in the MD. So the MD can also be a 16 track sequencer. Info on it is in the Appendix of the manual. If you have the same one I do it's page A-12. If you have a midi-CV then there you go. As for using the Impulse GND machine where did you hear of that? I just tried that with m...

I just saw this and thought I would try your patch. I don't get a constant low sound playing. Did you mean some kind of hiss? Or low synth sound? Maybe some of the pots have been pulled on(outwards) and aren't making proper contact? I would go over the knobs to see if they are doing what they are su...

I know. Not very often people come across dumpsters with small keys and waltz.
