Re: Winter NAMM 09 flood begins
that was Kuriochi, whom I guess I should have quoted. I think he saw the humour in it. If not, I'm sure he can PM me and ask if I was attempting to be humourous. PM Sent... ha ha ha ha. This year at NAMM has started out quite different to what I thought, but i guess thats just me hoping for ...

Re: Moog might be considering a new polysynth...
Is this all just speculation???
or is there a reason/source for it?
Either way, aren't they still sorting out the Taurus reissue?
I just don't understand why this has filled up with 4 pages of requests/demands and not one piece of information to further clarify this wild rumour....

Re: Vermona DRM
well, there was one on ebay for ages a year or so back, and no one went for it. Eventually someone bought it, spead the word, and then everyone started getting into the hype, so now theyre 'rare' aka price bumped up. The sounds arent editable like the 808 etc, however its full of trim pots for inter...

Re: Roland R8MKII sound cutting out
The r8 has a polyphony count. So if you program too many sounds then some will cut out at the overlapping points. Used to happen to me all the time. It's not all bad though. You can actually use it for rhythmic variation.

Re: I want to make bad rap and R&B/Mainstream c**p HOW????
Let's not forget that all mainstream production involves an ability to shamelessly slaughter the classics. Don't get too clever as people may confuse you for underground. Just take that s**t, changing nothing, and act like you own the s**t.

Re: the evolver's digital side
I was hoping to get a Poly Evolver rack (PER???) to add onto my MEK, but will have to trudge ebay now.... I love the metallic breathy tones it can produce, I envision some amazing pads if I ever get a poly rack. I was wondering if the prophet 08 can be poly chained to a MEK, then you could send the ...

Re: The synthesisers used on Kanye Wests new album
My problem isnt the lack of talent or anything it's this: 'they just had the right music at the right time that the masses happened to like' My problem is 'the masses'. I don't want everyone to agree on what is good and bad, but I find that a lot of this s**t is forced down our throats, and into our...

I think you should keep the 606 and 303, your kids may thank you for it when they get older and realise what they are.

Re: The synthesisers used on Kanye Wests new album
Kanye and all the rest of them aren't rappers now, they're popstars. The music business is oversaturated with talentless people (not saying he is, although he is really), and it's all just fashion/trend and promotion that gets them sales. Kind of like how MTV doesn't play music anymore, but they con...
