Re: Drum machines

I think you can reset it in the global menu, but you'll have to check. However it can defin...

Re: Drum machines
The big thing to mention is that MPCs are very different to a lot of other x0x type machines with step sequencers, so that and the above might be something to consider. the newer MPC have step sequencing, well at least the MPC 2500....its call step editing, works the same. Much faster then programmi...

Re: Drum machines
You may be best with a sampling drum machine, like one of the MPCs, since that would provide the most versatility in terms of different sounds. They usually will come with onboard sounds as a starter, but you would need to start finding you own to get the most of it. The analog machines have most ch...

Re: New Future Retro product coming.
Got to agree there. I think it's one of the most versatile units Ive bought.stikygum wrote:I noticed some XS units being sold and am quite shocked because this thing is like a staple. It's such a great synth.
I doubt something new would overlap with the XS, but you never know.

Re: New Classics
I don't think there will be any 'new classics'. There will just be additions to the current list. Plus as was mentioned, none of the recent gear has provided anything significant enough to the music world to classify it as a classic. Which probably has something to do with the fact that people are s...

Re: Machinedrum build quality
Its about the size of your computer keyboard if you remove the number pad. As for the buttons, they do have a really satisfying contact when you press them down. kind of like the keys on a keyboard but thicker and more organic. You know, a bit more vintage feeling and warm. It's because they're 3VCO...

Re: Machinedrum build quality
ha ha ha, let me be the first to say... Bollocks. Just to elaborate a little. I owned a machinedrum and although I would recommend getting a good case for gigging with it, I wouldn't say the build quality is low by any means. The dials are plastic and positioned a bit dangerously (just like all dial...

Re: what makes an instrument "professional"?
The thing that makes it professional is...
The fact that it should cost a lot less than it does, but doesn't because it's professional.
