Things I'm still wondering about: - will the four analog voices be linkable for chords? Im wouldnt say no for definate, but I doubt it, as I imagine the voices will be somewhat structured to focus on percussive sounds, I only say that because of the emphasis of them (Roger and Dave) both saying it ...

what type of sound/sounds are you interested in using, or what kind of music do you make? I just use my Xbase 999 now, because I began to dislike the digital tone of my MD. The 999 is capable of doing what I want and the MD isnt. But it all depends on your needs I guess, and how particular you are a...

I use standard wood furniture polish, but that might not be a good thing to use on coloured plastics.

I already have a 999 and some others.

I thought about a the concussor as a way of getting some extra sounds.

In a way I want someone to build a new 808.

I might get a vermona.

As long as you arent going too low a regular murf is ok.

But I find that mine cant help when it comes to real low end bass.

That said a regular murf would probably cover more range on the voyager, for leads and such.

So yeah, just buy another.

ha ha, Its metalbox.com

Yeah Ive seen their modules before. I wonder about the ability to modify some of the modules Ive seen...

I know analogue solutions mark their module with possible modifications.

In fact I might just build myself a drum machine.

Then again I was hoping for more of a discussion about the modules, as opposed to whether or not to buy them.

Analogue Solutions Concussor Modular

Anyone got any modules?

I was interested in sound examples, and possible war stories.

While we're here, does anyone know of another company who make percussion modules?

By the time youve got 3 107's, and something they can hardsynch to (CV sequencers or keybeds), plus a 101 filter, you'll be getting close to the voyager costs anyway. and considering the limitations on the OSC in the 107 it wouldnt be much like a minimoog. It might be capable of something good thoug...

They both have their own sound. The MD is very digital, which isnt a bad thing, especially for producing certain types of sounds, however the one thing it lacks is the analog oopmh of the 999. It can definately produce powerful kicks but there is a definate difference in the 'tone' (for sake of a be...

i seen an interview with dave smith at namm and i believe he said there would be a digital version and an ANALOG FILTER VERSION meaning no analog voices just processing similar maybe to the x-filter on the xbase999. i'd hope that aint the case but if it is it makes my search for an analog drum mach...
