Re: #Selfie Synth

Also is this s**t from Australia? If so you guys can do better, you gave us foetus, severed heads, and spk after all. I'm Australian and I've never head of this, but then again I don't listen to commercial radio or go to bad clubs. So much great stuff happening in Australia right now, this isn't ev...

Re: When will we see a new (non-DSI) analog poly?

I have to disagree about the Alesis Micron, it sounded bright and rather brittle to my ear. A nice synth to create it's own unique sound, but I wouldn't buy it thinking it could emulate classic analog synths. I did have a Yamaha AN1X for awhile, and I think it emulated classic analog sounds much bet...

Re: When will we see a new (non-DSI) analog poly?

I play with both hands and I prefer actual analogue for my analogue sounds, but I have no problem with having a VA that covers the entire spectrum of analogue type sounds in one unit either. Perhaps KORG will come up with something soon.. I think I may have misunderstood your quote into thinking yo...

Re: When will we see a new (non-DSI) analog poly?

I think it's just a matter of time before we see a analog poly synth. Now that we're enjoying a resurgence of analog appreciation, manufacturer's have realized there is a profitable market for it. I would put my money on Arturia being one of the first to create a poly analog synth, most likely using...

Re: Master your tracks for free with these plugins

Hey thanks for taking the time to do this tutorial and share it with all of us.
It's always fun to see how other's do it and the equipment they use.
Thanks again :)

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey

I have no problem with them announcing it, it gave me a headsup so I don't spend my money on something else. Plus I'm saving every month so I can have a good chunk of change to put towards it in the fall. I think we'll hear quite a bit more from summer NAMM. I see nothing wrong with announcing thing...

Re: MacBeth M5 Korg Kronos 73 sell it?

The M5 is a unique and wonderful sounding analog synth. I've had similar emotions in the past and sold stuff(Andromeda, Minimoog Model D, Tascam 388 and JD800 that I regret to this day. I have a system I use whenever I get the urge to "clean house", and that is I put it somewhere in storage, maybe b...

Re: Kraftwerk 3D

If they are miming and just manipulating tracks it is indeed a sad day.

I doubt very seriously if they are doing something like this, they care whether they use analog or not.

Has Kraftwerk become the new Milli Vanilli?

Re: Kraftwerk 3D

After doing a search for about 20 minutes, I have to say it's near impossible to find any information regarding their gear list for the 2014 tour. I don't think the NSA even knows. From the photo I did see, I would guess they're using controllers with laptops, and we know how sexy that can look.;) S...
