Re: Moog Taurus 2 / Rogue
I could even sequence it from my SH-101 or CSQ-600 correct? If the Taurus II brain is like a Rogue without a keyboard, that´s correct. It has connections for V-Trig and 1V/Oct CV starting at the F note. Is there anything I should look out for when checking it out? Yes, the connections at the back u...

I really like these tracks, they are my favourite things I've heard of yours. Nice work.
What is the Nemesis picture a close up of?

Re: Moog Taurus 2 / Rogue
Hey thanks for the reply. The foam has already been cleaned out so that's good. I don't need the taurus but it'll get a lot more use than what I'm trading for it so i'm cool with that. If anything i'm thinking it will be good for moog-ness so I can leave the (not-so) Mini at home. Would you know abo...

Re: Have a Jupiter 6. do I need a moog?
I agree with the guys above. If you use the Jupiter 6 'mainly to add synth parts to rock/indie rock songs. Mainly lead lines and pads' then you don't really need a moog as it seems the Jupiter 6 is covering your synth needs as it is. It would be a good addition for sure (any synth is :D ) , but not ...

Re: Roland SH-101 info needed
I love the Red SH-101, I know it's just the looks, but I'd love to replace my grey one with the red model.

Moog Taurus 2 / Rogue
I may have a chance to swap some pedals for a working Taurus II without the pedals. I was thinking it would be cool to control with the SH-2 or Mono/Poly and make a 4/6 oscillator beast. There's no reason this wouldn't work right? I could even sequence it from my SH-101 or CSQ-600 correct? Is there ...

Yeah I'd hardly consider a Pro-One 'budget'.

Re: Roland SH-101 info needed
Yes, red and blue ones go for more money that grey ones. With grips, even more so. Not sure if there's any difference between red and blue ones (value- and scarcity-wise). Has the existence (or non-existence) of non-custom white ones even been confirmed? Never even heard of green ones. The only gre...

Re: Simple (Mono) Analogue Synth which is good MIDI controll
It's a cool (but small) little controller, but the keyboard version doesnt have MIDI > CV conversion, only the rack units.smoothcriminal wrote:Novation Bass Station

Re: Overdrive Pedal
Crowther Hotcake is an amazing overdrive that a lot of people don't know about. Best overdrive I've ever used, and I've owned a lot of pedals. Not cheap, but once you get one you'll stop wanting a better overdrive. Wow this thing sounds great, I also checked out Luther Pedal (gearmandude). Know whe...

Re: Overdrive Pedal
+1 for the hotcake.
My OD of choice (for guitar) is the Zvex Box of Rock. Some people find it to be a bit much in the low end, but I found this to be a plus if you're using it with synths, especially bass sounds.

Re: free pedalboard for those tiny danelectros
Very good idea - I just picked up a tube amp from Tallow...so I might give that a shot this evening and see what results I can pull out. Brilliant. If you cant get enough crunch with just the amp, you may like to use a pedal to boost the front of the amp a bit harder. There are dedicated clean boos...
