The S612 did it for me.
The possibilities are endless for the sounds I can make and they are totally unique to me.
I spent hours last night making tracks with a sound I made by layering my voice and my sitar.

Man... DSI is really dragging there a*s with the MEK PE upgrade. It was meant to 'before summer', and summer has been gone. If they can do it for the PEK, why the delay for the MEK? Just got an EM-1. It's not replacing my ableton set-up for writing full tracks or whatever, but it excels at drums and IMHO I like the synth section much better than the EA-1.
