Re: New To Syths
Juno-6 is good (my first synth), and it's polyphonic. http://www.vintagesynth.com/roland/juno6.shtml You can probably get a Moog/realistic concertmate MG-1 for that price. http://www.vintagesynth.com/moog/mg1.shtml Thats all I can think of right now, but I'm sure more folks will suggest others soon ...

Re: Chemical Brothers Equipment
http://musicthing.blogspot.com/2008/08/red-hot-chemical-brothers-live-gear.html I think a big part of their sound comes from running stuff through guitar pedals and through other synths filters. Great photos! =D> I'm curious about the track 'sunshine underground'. I'm only speculating, but a lot of...

Re: Roland SH2
BIG bass from this little beasty even though I actually find it harder to get good "rez-bass" type sounds from it than my other synths just because of how sensitive the resonance sliders seem to be on these kind of roland synths. Same with me. I got mine about 6 weeks ago, in mint condition for $75...

Re: TR-909 vs. TB-303
They're both quite pricey machines, are you h**l bent on a 909 and 303? I mean they are considered the definitive acid machines, but they arent mandatory to creating acid. for (less than) the price of a 303 you could get an acidlab bassline and a sampling drum machine for 909 samples, and still easi...

Good Job. I dont listen to much acid, but that was one of the heaviest acid tracks i've heard. I dug it.

Re: Synthesizer : Pro User / VSE'r Association
Cool thread! I dont actually know much 'synth' music.. so half of the synths remind me of vse'ers... Monomachine/Machinedrum - JSRockit Acidlab bassline - TrondC Evolver - Stab Frenzy Sh-101 - Z (even though he's not super fond of it...) I know nothing of Oberheims products, but they make me think o...

Control Synthesis Deep Bass 9
Howdy,
Are there any users of the control synthesis deep bass 9 here?
I'm keen to hear it in action, and also know about how much they generally go for.
Any info you have, I'd love to hear!
