Re: What synth (s) you own but haven't played for over 1 year
i don't wait untill it makes a year i didn't used a piece of gear to sell it. my place is small and a usuless synth is a useless space, bear in mind that my music "studio" (yeah right! roll eyes) is 5' x 10' including storage. i didn't played much on the an200, it was the first one i bought and i li...

wich samplers does load .wav live?
i'm not sure if the title was relevant but here's the complete scenario: i'm planning a show this summer and i'm looking for a sampler that load wav file while i'm playing live and have internal effects. i want to do a minimalistic set. something like one sampler and a ds-10, maybe 2 ds-10. in exemp...

boring answer but look on ebay.
remember that ebay and paypal take a % of the final price (ebay) and the money transferred (paypal).

Re: Time for mini laptops yet?
It would have to be able to play a soft synth or two... if not newer stuff, at least older stuff... I ran reason 1 and fruity loops with VSTs on way inferior laptops back in the day. yep! fruity loops 3 System Requirements : * Windows 95/98/Me/2000 * Pentium class 200MHz processor * 32MB RAM * 800x...

Re: live gig in a sandpitt, how to make the gears survive?
maybe one of those mesh-walled tent things people use to close in outdoor tables & such... might help... i'm not sure it would work. for the coarse sized sand it should work but since the area is windy i think it would let the sand dust get through. could someone with a kp3 could try the touch pad ...

Re: live gig in a sandpitt, how to make the gears survive?
I would gladwrap (saran wrap?) a minimal amount of gear and use that, but I wouldn't do a show where my stuff would possibly get ruined. yes and/or boxed some stuff (compressor and such that aren't used while playing). i won't bring stuff that will be damaged by the sand. i have to narrow what i co...

Re: live gig in a sandpitt, how to make the gears survive?
kp3 has lots of holes too... what you need is like.. a metal box that has membrane controls only haha.. :/ but if i throw up everything will be safe... hahaha does the kp3 heats up? could i tape the hole without any problems? without a baffle the laptop and samplers (a4000 and s5000) looks like out...
