baffle may be a good idea. i'll check with the guy that organize it. maybe we could work something out. h**l, he's planning to do his dj set in his van because of the last years he had to dismantle his cd player, turntable and the mixer because he couldn't even move a fader nor the tray of his cd pl...

live gig in a sandpitt, how to make the gears survive?
i've been invited at "Poutstock". a 3 days show done by some oldtime friends. i want to go there, i'll get there. the only thing is that it's in a sandpit. yes a sandpit. even more, it's a windy area. sand and alot of it gets everywhere . what would be fine to bring there? sh-2000, modular and most ...

kurzweil k2500rs any user here?
does anyone here still use this synth/sampler? a friend of mine may land one at my place for nothing. i was just wondering what's his strength?
i was wondering if i could use the k2500rs as an effect box? like audio input that is treated with effects and send it right to the output.

Re: guess the synth, with effects
hmm, i was about to put this thread in the "don't ever do again" bin.
it's not listed. but the effect are done with a4000 and nord modular ( and i didn't use the synth to pitch the osc of the nord ).
hint: not a sampler, not vintage at all, not a pc

Re: Synths for MIDI to CV
what do you want to control? only your model D? speaking of paia, they have a midi-2-cv with v/oct (http://www.paia.com/midi2cv.asp). it seems that the tracking or pitch is not great (i have yet to hear it) but it looks so versatile. with this little box you get mutiple configuration like: Pitch, Ve...
