was just curious as to what you think the mini brute will bring to the table.
im thinking it looks like a replacement for the pro one or even the sh 101.

Omni 1 and a stone phaser
Hi All....i will be getting my Omni 1 back from the techs soon.
im into early disco at the moment, ive noticed that a lot of DISCO strings a come from the Crumar performer.
do you think i would be close enough if i employed the same technique with the stone phaser.

Re: 707/juno 60 sequenced timing
Hi Z ..i think ive cracked it....i set the 707 rimshots to fire every two steps...and set the juno arp at 2 octaves.
this gives me the tight octave bounce i want...with setting 33 on the keyboard.
cheers for the help, its nice to know we have the backing to fall upon...weldone VSE.

Re: 707/juno 60 sequenced timing
Hi Z....its the type or gergio morroder style sound im trying to re create...
just a high/ low octave sound.....that keeps the track grooving..
is it best just to let the juno 60 jump it an octave or should it be though the 707 sequencer.
im trying to get the best timing to the track....cheers

707/juno 60 sequenced timing
Hi all....i have been trying to copy a track...sylvester...you make me feel....arppegio lines. im finding that the timing wanders slightly when playing the bass lines which are usually 3 notes. is this because im using the arpeggio range set at two octaves. on the juno 60. would it be best if i set ...

Re: New stuff from Roland!
For us guys that dont want to spend £ 5,000 on two machines..£ 400 sobs is a no brainer. a reverb/ delay and compression boxes could/would come to that alone. Yes there are things missing but there are things added as well. i would have paid a further £100. for a couple of more outs/ a trigger / and...

Re: Roland JX showdown: JX-3P vs JX-8P vs Super JX10
Hi Vuuv.....had a TX81Z also...you have to work that thing hard though...tops for bass..but other sounds sounded scratchy..no strings....one trick pony came to mind. i would go get the JX3P with programmer..you will learn more from the experiance than a TX81Z. i ve learnt you have to spend more in t...

Re: Roland JX showdown: JX-3P vs JX-8P vs Super JX10
Never had a JX10 so cant comment there... i favour the JX8P as its a synth that has learnt its lessons from before..the sound is lush and i was planning to use it with a Linn 9000...instant miami vice....its not a responsive synth and i can understand peoples frustration main drawback is its size fo...

two juno 60s would you
i love the juno 60 in what you can get out of it..what a synth. clocking the juno tends to tie the synth up unless i overdub, but i dont really want to do that. i would like to create sounds that counter rythm each other as say 2 x 303s would. that works well. would you buy a further juno 60 or shou...

Re: can 606 hi hats replace 909 hi hats
Hi Nathanscribe....the only other convincing hi hats i thought were the YAMAHA RM1X very close to the 909 hats but could make chicago house to fast sounding...and not being able to adjust the pattern enough. i had a mate many years back who had a 606 and i thought it was lacking punch, but im not lo...

can 606 hi hats replace 909 hi hats
been having a lot of fun re hashing some early chicago house... however i only have a 707 and a juno 60.... i feel im missing something in the hi hat section....the 707s are ok but not groovy enough. i cant afford a 909 and dont want to sample as you loose the vibe/swing element. was wondering if i ...

Re: was the pro 5 the only funk synth
I try and get near with my Juno 60, but nowhere near the pro 5....and the juno does not have a mod wheel.
