Re: Did I make a nice trade? Karma/Moss for Ax-60 and D-50

I had a D50 for a while and sold it towards a Karma purchase w/ 2 boards one was Moss. I'm happy.

Re: What Was the Most Organic Sounding Synth Ever Released?

I think I understood exactly what the the OP was getting at.

If I set up an Arp 2600 to make 'Primeval Jungle' sounds, and I hear all the chirpings and ambience of an ever changing jungle forest, than that's pretty organic. Try it and see...

Re: What Was the Most Organic Sounding Synth Ever Released?

I'm not familiar with all the synths ever released so I can't make that judgement. I can say, for me it was the Arp 2600.

Re: Wet clothes and 808

Dude, what's your studio doing in the laundry room?

Yes - it's bad, humidity rusts metal bits and adds condensation to the the innards.

Re: What Vintage Synth Would You Like to See Back in Production?

Ever since the MS20 sort of morphed into a MS2000, I've been waiting for something similar to happen with an ARP 2600. I would buy it.

Re: Korg MS2000B

I'm having a problem with the keyboard. For some reason, certain keys play the same notes, on every octave of the keyboard. When you change patches, these 'doubled' keys switch to different keys, but still mess up in every octave. Do you have any idea what may cause that? A couple of thoughts: 1. I...

Re: What is the stupidest accident you've had with you gear?

As a post script to my story, L&M only charged me $130 in the end and offered me a free rental - so they did try to compensate, but the issue of no face to face intraction with a repair technician still exists. Still after 4 months, I'm happy to report that my customed repaired MC 505 works great.
