I'm not really into any of the clavinet emulations that I've tried. Maybe I just can't play them properly. I've never tried the real thing either, but do real clavinets really sound like Tickyclav? I somehow doubt that.

There really isn't much of a debate. Most agree that the old synths sound better.

I believe that's the Rhodes Chroma. The video is a bit smudgy, but I think it's recognizable. He seems to have the expander module on top of it as well (so it's basically 2 Chromas).
