Re: what synth would compliment a JP8000 and an AN1x
You already have two vintage Virtual Analog keyboards with a good sound. I had a JP8080 and it's a superb VA for classic trance and stuff, is the same than yours but the the JP8000 is 8 poly only. I don't think you need a Real Analog for trance stuff for the moment. Get a phrase sampler or a drum ma...

Re: Which Synth matches this description?
I can buy two lolipops with 500 colones in Costa Rica. Yumi!
Poly can be cheated on a mono synth like the Evolver, right? It has 4 voices per patch (two analog + two waveforms) and they can be splited through the stereo outputs I think so...

Re: Korg Radias or....? recommendations plz
I got a Radias for a very reasonable price. I have been hunting this VA in secret for a looong time. I had a Virus B years ago, and the few things I have heard from the Radias have some similar taste to the Virus family. I haven't touch it yet, but sure I'll be hooked to the the Radias, I really lov...

Re: wx7 wind controller
Yes! You have been "enlightened". EX5 is a super workstation, I have been exploring it for years, but it's also terrible slow and really a nightmare of programmation since its engine is too massive and complex for its interface and O.S. After using it a lot you start to find a lot of bugs (specially...

Re: question about m audio venom
hey ROMmate! :D :D I always had that confusion about romplers and wavetables. Wavetables can deal samples on chromatic scale right? When I mean chromatic, I'm thinking on a sample that does not shrink or enlarge when you go across a keyboard. On the V-synth, you have VA oscillators, but also a list ...

Re: Aturia Spark Hardware/Software Drum Machine
I love it's concept. They are softsynths based, but still being a hardware synth.
Now, it's plenty of controllers and the interface seems very intuitive, I love the circular set of controllers at the top right.
And the price is f**k fantastic. Novamusik on 549

Great! It's just that this tiny tribe is ringing my bell strongly. Obviously is a machine that must make companion with others! not a standalone instrument. Some posts makes me thing that some people thinks this tiny stuff is gonna save the world or something like that. The video (new or old, offici...

Re: the Ninja/ Balma collaboration effort!
je je thank you man for taking your time. I like how you managed the loops all together, the structure of the song belongs to you, but using my samples as background. I only feel that the saw arpeggio you put over all the song should have some variations over time in order to make it more interestin...

Re: General Synthesizers and you? What do they see?
I can' t reply in a specific way, just to be honest. I do music because it makes me feel really good to be in control of it. Doing music must be a labour of love. I love music and I love my instruments, each synth is a huge world to discover and they are beautiful because empower your mind and creat...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuqJfAWkN2c&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL now that's something! Great tweakings on the monotribe. Is a shame that for me, MIDI is a must. I love Electribe's sequencing concept, but I use MIDI not only for sync, but also for transmitting tracks. I focused on seq...

Re: Blofeld, Radias, or Ion?
What about the JP8080? The rack version seems to have a s**t ton of knobs to fiddle with. Is it good for beginners? JP8080 is a great VA synthesizer (maybe the best one when it was released), easy to control, fast when editing and tweaking sounds, but it's already a little bit old due to lots of ne...

Re: alesis ion's flexible oscillators
Indeed they are great synths :) and it's amazing how cheap they are. They are known for being great sequencers, but its arsenal of features is really unknown for synth players. That sound is only one C2 note holded during 40 seconds. You can hear how many shapes adopt during time. The engine results...

You have progressed a lot since your first tracks, that's evident. :yahoo: I love the production oriented to the live performance with a good taste. Just need to work more on the hihats sounds you choose, and how much variations and possibilities you apply to them. Please become famous and invite me...
