it turns out that when i use the line outputs into the mixer most of the bass and drum sounds have an indistinct low volume compared to all the rest. however, when i use the 1/8" headphone out, it works just fine. so looks like i'll be bypassing the rca line outputs. maybe a faulty by product of mas...
