Waldorf is shipping Largo v 1.5. Looks like they added a real preset browser.... Still $250 tho.

As long as the caps are all discharged you should be fine. and use a heat sink.

on a side note I would like to see vse add the emu rack samplers comparable to the akai S series that are listed here...E5000,E6400,E4xt,E4 platinum etc. both classic and ultra series as well as the Yamaha A series. to many the emu's were the pinnacle of hardware samplers before software pretty muc...

Roland will release the MV-9000....it will have a synthesis engine similar to the fantom with multitrack capabilities and more ram. "User arps" for the M3 can be programmed using the Karma software. Funny how y'all will run out and buy the 'full version' editor for a Mopho, but seem to think having to buy the Karma software editor is highway robbery.

The Novation synths you're listed are going to be a little... smooth for the kind of music you're working with. The MS2000r and microkorg both have limited polyphony. PRogramming the micron is a bit involved, but it has decent p[polyphony and is multitimbral. One thing i notice is missing from your ...

You don't need the Karma software to create your own multis (combis) from scratch, the KARMA software is for creating your own Generated Effects (GEs) from scratch or creating variations of exisitng ones. OF course, IIRC, the current M3 revision has something like 1200 GEs on it already... YOu can e...
