Re: who uses keyboard workstation

I'd like to have an M3 but use my Karma for the same thing. The M3 can take a Radias add-on board that gives it a 24-voice 4-part VA onboard with the M3, and with the M3's VST control you can integrate it into a DAW workflow. Add the EXBFW option, and you get six separate channels of digital audio c...

Re: Alesis Micron vs. Korg R3?

The micron's multiple types of filters make it better for emulating vintage synth sounds rather than trying to create new sounds this is an extremely incorrect statement > the micron's many filter types are one of the reasons it has such a broad palette of sounds, and it allows you to create a lot ...

Re: Alesis Micron vs. Korg R3?

I have a micron, my roomate has an R3, and I also have an MS2000. The R3 is a little smoother than the MS2000, and both the R3 and MS2000 are easier to program than the Micron. The micron's multiple types of filters make it better for emulating vintage synth sounds rather than trying to create new s...

Re: ***Write Reviews For The VSE***

I'll work up entries for the Emu E4 series of samplers... (EIV, e6400, e4k, e5000, and ultra versions) since they all 'sound' similar, they are just different variants.

Re: Novachord #346 Inspection & Initial Wakeup

perhaps it even had something to do with how e.g. robots were portrayed in the science fiction literature / films at the time - they were always intended to replace human workers, posed a threat to old-fashioned life styles and so on. More likely, it was from the very (to them) real threat that aut...
