Re: Pre-CS80 Vangelis in his studio clip

Thanks for chiming in Micke. I doubt anyone could have identified that Elka. It has almost the same looks as the Yamaha CP20-30. From comments I read, the clip is around the time of his album 'Earth'.

Pre-CS80 Vangelis in his studio clip

Videoheads Amsterdam, whoever they are, has done it again and released a vintage Vangelis clip in his studio. Must be a collector of some sorts as they already had really rare videos.

Re: TG33 + SH-32 = $ CHING $

Just last week there was a 250$ TG33 on the local classifieds. I paid that much for a rarely used SY77 w/extras.
SY22s go for half that price around here.

Re: Kraftwerk "Home Computer" MidiNES cover by PK!

As much as I like the NES sound, I couldn't get over the fact that it doesn't have any envelopes or allow control over the LFO with MidiNEs. There are ways to have it more programmable but since I didn't like using software or trackers, I felt stuck with no way to shape the waveforms. The samples al...

No Midi with Steem emulator

Hi. I've been trying out Steem for a few days but no midi connection detected. Is there somewhere within the emulator i can go to have it recognized? I'm using a simple usbmidi cable from a module to the computer that works fine otherwise.

Re: Video clips from "classic" movies featuring electr

I haven't really investigated yet, but did anyone release the score in its entirety (both Queen's cues and Blake's)? I see a set of just Queen's cues on itunes.... I found cases of cassette tapes on the side of the road last fall and it was one of the few I kept. It's pretty good even without the m...

I'm surprised about the original Moog Taurus having cv/gate.
Taurus II has it as well

Re: just got a DX7. Suggestions on learning or patches?

I never quite got to the point of anticipating every results programming 6op machines from the front panel. I managed to acheive certain sounds I was after but am mostly content in driftning aimlessly into alien landscapes with it (SY77 in my case, behaves a bit differently, more complex and easy to...

Sure. You'd need a similar sized display and everything should be good.
