+1. most amplifiers can't really take the extreme dynamic range of the synthesizer.

hey thanks guys, i always figured there was something different about the mg-1's sound. hey, BTW i'm not bashing NES music, i've spent my fair share of time inside famitracker, i'm just commenting on what good outboard effects CAN do to a sound, such as the raw and aggressive 2A03 sound turned rich ...

Renoise can be pretty quick if you like the tracker-style interface. i don't think this guy does ;) but anyway, just download the demo for FL studio 9. it never runs out of time but you just can't save tracks, comes with a lot of really cool VST's inbuilt too. chances are it's all you need. FL stud...

hey guys, I know they are very similar synthesizers. but I was just wondering exactly how similar do the moog rogue and the MG-1 sound? say, would an MG-1 sound pretty much exactly the same as this?
