Re: BASE pack for Animoog
Yesterday I forgot to mention that Animoog is on sale again. Not 99 cents this time but it's under $3.00 so even if you'r enot interested in the fart sounds you can at least pick it up for a good price.

Re: introduction
Ther eis a lot of good info here and some fun people.
I look forward to hearing some of your tracks.
Make sure you check out the Set Up Pictures thread. You may have to wipe the drool off of your keyboard after looking at it. There's a lot of cool stuff in there.

The site also lists something called a Dongle Buddy.
I think my cat had one of those hanging off his a*s recently.
He dragged it all over the house and we had to rent a steam cleaner.

Re: non mainstream hard to find knobby synths?
I think you should focus less on the actual synth itself and think about what you can do with a synth to make the sounds your own. Yes, the actual hardware is important, of course, but nobody really ever cares what synth you used as much as whether the music is any good. If you want non-mainstream s...

Re: Figuring out the Midi on my Mini Moog
I just found an old thread about this. (I thought I had posted it elsewhere but, alas, it was here. Plus I had forgotten all about probing with the multi meter back then.) Here is what I said in the old thread: "The outer two pins of a five-pin MIDI cable are getting a steady 7.5 volts or so. The vo...

Re: Figuring out the Midi on my Mini Moog
I didn't think of that. Either I've got my dates wrong or perhaps it's some kind of DIN sync.
I'll have to get ahold of the guy and verify when he said he got the thing.
It was probably later than I was thinking. I don't know of any DIN sync mods on Mini's.
