Re: Help recreating a synth bass?

What software are you using? I could conjure something on SuperwaveP8 or shareware synths. Waveforms would probably be Saw, or Square or combination thereof.

Re: Suggestions for best JV Expansion Cards

I have Keyboards of the '60s and '70s. The Rhodes, Whurly, Mellotron, and dozens of classic organ sounds are just bonkers. Like the Vintage Synth and Latin expansions, the 60s/70s cards fetch the highest prices on Ebay.

Re: Help recreating a synth bass?

Welcome to the forum. The key to this sound is the subtle use of oscillator sync. On the MS2000 set osc2 sync on, and modulate its pitch with a small amount of EG. There may be some Filter EG modulation as well. I don't know what Osc waveforms to use.

Re: Tracks featuring Matrix-12 and Pittsburgh + SH-101

Love the 2nd track, I agree with griffin avid, if you would of brought it back to the opening riff, it would bring a bit of closure to the track. but it's your piece of expression, and it's very enjoyable like it is. At the time I was thinking about turning it into two tracks, maybe I shouldn't hav...

Re: Esi32 output scale/tracking parameter anyone?

I have OS 2.10, also going through the manual, I do not see a way to do it. Amp Tracking may be a feature that was added on later OS versions. Positive Filter tracking should help achieve what you want. Another tedious workaround would be to create zones for one or two keys at a time, and adjusting ...

Re: Tracks featuring Matrix-12 and Pittsburgh + SH-101

That second track and video is it. I wasn't too moved by the first, but the second video and track got a groove. I like that it goes new places, but (THIS IS JUST ME) I wish it would return to the opening motif/groove by the end. Thanks for checking it out. In the original perhaps more should have ...

Re: Roland Boutique

Please excuse my lack of understanding, but why a digital synth would need master tuning? It should already be in tune, and stay forever like that. It might be available through the USB connection with a computer... That's part of my hope for a plug-in to go with these, for hidden parameters. There...

Re: Shipping Boxes for Keyboards

Rusty, the local GC in town put a lock on their cardboard bin. I went inside to ask for boxes on shipping day, and they said they were no longer giving them out. Said they have to keep all of them. Probably sending them back to the warehouse to handle online sales. Vicd, I will have to check the bik...

Re: Roland Boutique

Can't wait to hear how they sound. Wonder if they will offer plug-in VST versions. Having 4-voices, would be nice if the ACB models plug-out to the system-1...those controls look absolutely minuscule.

Cool. Love my Sub 37 but wish it had more ins/outs. Great price considering their Ladder module is $549 US.

Welcome to the board. Make sure the power supply is working right. Do you put a scope on the power supply output voltages?

Re: Non-stock LinnDrum samples

This thread has stirred up a hornets nest of questions for me. I have a Sequential Drumtraks, and similarly Wine Country owns the rights to their sounds. I dodged the whole issue by loading a few non-stock sounds of my own creation. But the internet has made everything very easy. We have access to m...

Re: Polysix KLM-376 power supply problem

As for the tabs and the mounting rail, I can clearly see that the tabs aren't touching the rails, but I'll test that tomorrow just to be safe. I really appreciate the help! Thank you :thumbright: You're welcome. With the voltage regulator tabs, its important there is a thin piece of non-conductive ...

Re: Polysix KLM-376 power supply problem

To check, unplug synth, set your DVM to continuity test and probe the tabs and rail. There should be NO beep, resistance reading should be zero. I presume you meant to say infinite (i.e. no continuity), not zero. :geek:  Infinity is open circuit, zero resistance is short circuit. I think I me...
